End of the world​

We will be hosting an end-of-season event to celebrate the end of the season. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpPrison and have fun!​

New! Spawn​

Dress to impress and prepare to indulge in culinary excitement. We have spared no expense in crafting an exceptional restaurant experience, complete with our brand-new culinary haven and competitive dining arena.​

New! Gang Top Rewards​

Gather up, recruit only the best Prison players out there, and start the grind for another season of Prison.​

This new season of prison we will have biweekly rewards for the top gangs! ​

This will go on until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days. View all the dates in the /payouts menu.​

End-of-the-season rewards​

First place: €300 worth of Iron currency.​

Second place: €250 worth of Iron currency.​

Updated! Masks​

We're excited to announce a major update to our mask system that will enhance your gameplay experience even further.​

We recognize the importance of masks in PvP battles, and we've made them even better with a new feature.​

As a player, you'll now be able to see which masks your opponents are wearing in real-time. Instead of their helmet, you'll see the skull of their mask displayed on their character, providing a clear indication of their chosen mask.​

This update is purely for display purposes and is only visible to your opponents. It adds an extra layer of strategy to battles, allowing players to assess their opponents' mask choices and adjust their tactics accordingly.​

Updated! Prisoner Suit​

We are excited to announce an update to the prisoner suit, a signature element of the game that embodies the essence of progression. In response to player feedback, we have expanded the possibilities by introducing an additional upgrade to the prisoner suit, further enhancing its capabilities.​

Additionally, we have diligently addressed and resolved any issues related to certain boosts not functioning as intended. With these refinements in place, the prisoner suit now offers even more power.​

A new beacon upgrade​

You will now be able to upgrade the number of beacons you obtain from mining them with the brand-new beacon upgrade you will obtain your needed beacons in no time.​

Updated! Diamond Dunes​

We understand that while PvP can be an exhilarating experience for many, it may not be everyone's cup of tea.​

That's why we are thrilled to announce an upcoming update to Diamond Dunes that will cater to a broader audience.​

​

The first 20 minutes will have a grace period​

In response to valuable player feedback, we will be introducing a grace period upon the opening of Diamond Dunes. This means that although players will still need to venture into the PvP arena to access the dunes, there will be a designated time period during which the risk of engaging in PvP will be temporarily mitigated. You will have 20 minutes within the dunes without PvP enabled, after that the dunes will be accessible for 40 more minutes, but PvP will be enabled.​

This exciting change aims to provide a more inclusive and flexible experience for all players, allowing them to explore the riches and challenges of Diamond Dunes at their own pace and preference. Prepare to embark on an adventure where both thrill-seekers and those seeking a more peaceful exploration can revel in the wonders that await within Diamond Dunes.​

Updated! Gangs​

​

We are thrilled to present the latest Gang Updates, where we have taken significant strides to enhance your gang's capabilities and introduce fresh opportunities for growth.​

We have removed some of the perks causing issues with the overall gameplay at OpPrison.​

​

On top of that, we have introduced an exciting new addition to our arsenal of features—a bank option that will revolutionize the way your gang handles its finances. Get ready to lead your gang to new heights of prosperity and domination in this dynamic and evolving landscape.​

​

Removed some gang perks​

We have removed the speed and jump boost perk completely. These perks caused issues with PvP, and are generally not useful in OpPrison as you are able to fly in mines. With this change, we hope to make PvP more enjoyable as a whole.​

​

Beacon Bank​

As a gang you will now be able to store all of your collected beacons in a safe place, making it possible to transfer beacons across gang members, allowing you to team up in a better way, rather than having to share your account. We feel like this change makes working together as a gang a much better experience.​

​

Updated! Crates​

We are delighted to unveil the exciting modifications we have made to our Crate Rewards in our latest update, aiming to deliver a truly gratifying progression journey for our players.​

​

Rank voucher changes​

We have replaced the seasonal gangster rank in the unique crate with a permanent gangster rank. The godly crate now has a seasonal gangster rank instead of a permanent one to balance it out with all other crates.​

​

Prestige costs changes​

We have changed the prestige costs rewards, they will now be given as a voucher, rather than directly being added to your account. With this change, we have also made them soul bound to the original player. This means only the account that obtained the voucher is eligible to redeem it.​

​

Booster changes​

All personal boosters given from the crates have been changed to booster potions, these potions can be consumed in order to activate a booster. This means you will now be able to easily trade these boosters, and they will no longer fill up your boosters menu, as the smaller boosters from crates are now a physical items that you can right-click to use.​

The gang boosters from the Godly crate are given as a voucher, allowing players to trade them as well.​

​

Fixed! Bugs​

​

We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpPrison server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.​

Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:​

• Fixed trading not working.
• Fixed tinkerer not working.
• Fixed performance issues.
• Fixed private mines not resetting.
• Fixed not being able to claim some playtime rewards.
• Fixed mobs not spawning in diamond dunes.
• Fixed crate items with stock resetting after a reboot.

Misc. Updates & Changes​

​

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:​

• Updated Anticheat.
• Updated payouts menu.
• Reduced the amount of pet experience you gain.
• Added /leveltask.
• Added a timer to see when the dunes are opening in /diamondshop.
• Disabled re-rolls on seasonal crate.
• Made all pickaxes from crates as a diamond pickaxe.

Why did OpPrison reset?​

OpPrison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you, the players, to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.​

​

This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style is provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!​
