Survival Guide

Survival is a multiplayer game mode on PikaNetwork with 4 different worlds that can be played on and explored!
Each world has its unique seed that you can explore, claim and build in. It has a player-driven economy where you can set up player shops to sell and buy items from them as well.
This guide will help you through every basic command and mechanics of this game mode to help you play it easily!

However, make sure to read all the rules of the server and especially the server-specific rules here before you start playing.

Kits
Kits provide you with items like tools, armour and food which you can claim every 24 hours!
  • You can claim your starter kit by doing /kits and selecting ALL MEMBER KITS.
Now claim the starter kit from it, and you're good to go.
You can unlock the donator kits and classes by purchasing them from
store, which contains better items to make the gameplay easier.

Worlds
There are multiple worlds in which you can explore and have fun!
Once you've claimed your kits and are ready to start, you can use /rtp or /worlds to start your journey!

Here is a list of worlds that are available:
  • Resource world - You can collect the resources you need from this world. This resets every Saturday and you cannot claim here.
  • Red world - A normal vanilla overworld.
  • Blue world - A normal vanilla overworld.
  • Green world - A normal vanilla overworld.
  • Nether - Vanilla nether with no level requirements.
  • End - Vanilla end and requires level 30 to enter.
You can also use /redworld , /blueworld , /yellowworld and /greenworld to teleport to the corresponding worlds.
Note that PvP is disabled in all these worlds. You can pvp with other players at /warp pvp.

Commands
Before you start exploring the world, here are some useful commands that can help you throughout your journey!

  • /sethome - Allows you to set a home in the designated place you're standing on (donator ranks give you more homes).
  • /homes - Shows you a list of all the homes you've set with /sethome.
  • /home - Teleports you to the place you've used /sethome on.
  • /delhome - Deletes your /sethome.
  • /rtp or /wild - Teleports you to a random place in the world where you can build.
  • /trade - Sends a trade to a player and trades with them (note that this doesn't work cross-worlds - you need to be in the same world).
  • /tpa <name> - Sends a teleport request to the player.
  • /tpahere <name> - Sends a request to teleport a player to your place.
  • /tpacancel - Cancels the teleport request.
  • /tpaccept - Accepts the teleport request.
  • /tpdeny - Denies the teleport request.
  • /shop - Teleports you to the player shop NPC, where you can browse through other players' shops.
  • /ah - Opens the auction house menu where you can sell items or buy items that others have listed for sale.
Warps
Warps help to quickly navigate around the server instead of visiting the places you want manually. Let's look at the in-game warps list.
  • /warps - Open the GUI list of warps.
  • /warp crates - Teleports you to the crates where you can open your keys.
  • /warp shop - Teleports you to the NPC of player shops warp GUI.
  • /warp pvp - Teleports you to the designated place where PvP is enabled.
  • /warp leaderboards - Teleports you to the place where the leaderboards are located.
  • /warp Wizard or /wizard - Teleports you to the place where the Wizard is located at.
  • /warp merchant - Teleports you where the Traveling Merchant is.
  • /warp end - Teleports you to where the End Portal is located. (Accessible by advancing to level 30 in /level).
  • /warp level - Teleports you to the NPC of Player Levels where you can check your progress.
  • /warp pets - Teleports you to the place where the Zookeeper is.
  • /warp blackmarket or /bm - Teleports you to the place where the black market NPC is located.
  • /warp wild - Teleports you to the current portal that sends you to a random location like /rtp.
Players can also set up their own warps. You can check the available player warps with /playerwarps.
You can set up a player warp by following these instructions:
  • First, you need to obtain a player warp token. It can be either obtained from crates or the Noble once kit.
  • You can set your warp by using /setplayerwarp <name> while standing in the location you want players to teleport into. Note that teleportation would not work if the location were not safe.
Claims
Claims help you to build your builds in peace without worrying about others griefing it! You can find a detailed tutorial on how to claim lands here.
You can claim land by right-clicking with a golden shovel obtained from the starter kit, to mark the desired territory and type /claim to claim the selected area. You can check the size of the claim using a stick.
Here's a list of some extra commands you need to know to use claims properly!

  • /accesstrust <name> - Gives the player access to use buttons and levers in your claims.
  • /containertrust <name> - Gives the player access to containers and animals, as well as AccessTrust in your claims.
  • /trust <name> - Gives the player complete build permissions in the claim, as well as ContainerTrust.
  • /permissiontrust <name> - Gives the player the ability to add other players to the claim and trust.
  • /trustlist - List of players who have trust in the claim you're standing in and what kind of trust they have.
  • /untrust <name> - Removes trust from the player.
Using Public instead of a player name gives everyone the trust level.
  • /abandonallclaims - Deletes all of your claims.
  • /abandonclaim - Deletes the claim you're standing in.
Player shops
Now that you've grinded a lot of materials, you can sell them to other players via player shops, and buy the items you're lacking, from other players! Player shops are static, player-made, spots used to sell and buy items. You can check other players' shops by clicking the NPC you're teleported to when the /shop command is used.
Let's see how to make a player shop of your own!

  • Place down a chest.
  • While holding shift, place a sign on that chest and manually write [shop], then exit out of the GUI.
  • Right-click the shop sign and click the barrier block.
  • Click an item that's inside of your inventory you want to sell/buy in that shop.
  • Right-click the golden ingot to set the price you're paying others to buy that item; this is optional.
  • In order for your shop to show up in the catalogue, you'll have to advertise it. Do this by clicking the advertisement button in your shop and selecting which advertisement gem to use.
Auction house
Auctions are a way to trade items for in-game money with other players and sell the items you're unable to sell through shops. You can list more items according to the rank you hold in the Survival server. The Auction GUI can be opened by right-clicking the NPC at spawn or by typing /ah. Let's see how to create an auction!
  • Hold the item you're looking to sell in your primary hand.
  • Type /ah sell <price> (example: /ah sell 500).
  • Click on the diamond or the emerald according to your choice if you want to directly auction the item or put it up for bidding.
Voila! You just created an auction for Items you want to sell on /ah! Keep in mind that it will auction everything that you are holding in your hand, so if you are holding 64 enchanted golden apples in your hand and you type /ah sell 1000, you will auction 64 enchanted golden apples for $1000.

Accidently listed something on ah and want to get it back? No worries! You can get back an item you enlisted to sell in /ah unless someone has already bought it. You simply need to open the Auction House GUI by typing /ah and clicking on the barrel (here) and you can see all the items you auctioned - you can get the item back by simply clicking on the item.

Player levels
Want some objective-based quests to complete and get exciting rewards? Look no further! Player levels are completable objectives that get harder but give better rewards as you go on. The rewards from these range from money and gold coins to special items like command vouchers and even seasonal ranks!
You can check player levels by doing /level.

Blackmarket
Blackmarket is an NPC which buys three different items for money. This list of items changes every 24 hours, so always keep an eye on them! This is one of the best ways to earn money. Iron farms and gold farms can be very helpful in making money from this NPC.

The Blackmarket catalogue can be opened by talking to the NPC that's reachable by typing /bm.

Travelling merchant
The Traveling Merchant is a server-controlled shop NPC. Unlike the Blackmarket, this one will sell three different items and they change every 24 hours.

You can watch this video to see how to reach this NPC.

Mystery wizard

The Mystery Wizard is a server-controlled shop NPC. The wizard holds stock consisting of rare and exotic items.
The Mystery Wizard will only offer two of his items on the weekends. These items can only be purchased by gold coins obtained from completing player levels and crates.

The Mystery Wizard catalogue can be opened by talking to the NPC that's reachable by typing /wizard.

Clans
Looking forward to playing with your friends? Clans are the best way to do so! Clans are groups in Survival which work together to achieve shared goals. You can create a clan or join one created by your friends! You can be in 4 clans (1 clan in each world).

  • Samurai
  • Ninja
  • Warlock
  • Alchemist
  • Wizard
  • NOBLE
