Greetings, PikaNetwork members! Today, I present a proposal that allows for the resubmission of denied suggestions after a considerable period (3-5 months). The key feature is that only individuals other than the original proposer can resubmit the idea. If accepted, both the new proposer and the initial creator receive gold rewards – though the latter's reward is slightly reduced. Let's delve into the details.​

The suggestion aims to create a more dynamic and inclusive suggestion process. Allowing denied ideas to be reconsidered after a period fosters creativity, ensuring that good concepts, initially overlooked or misunderstood, get a chance to shine again. This not only encourages active participation but also rewards the community's resilience in refining and reimagining ideas. The gold rewards for both the new proposer and the original creator serve as a gesture of appreciation for contributing to the server's improvement.​

Personally, I disagree. Let me explain why...

The concept of someone other than the original creator resubmitting an idea will probably lead to disputes over ownership and credit.

Constantly revisiting denied suggestions could clutter the suggestion process, making it harder for new, original ideas to get the attention they deserve.

Keeping track of who originally proposed an idea and ensuring that the resubmission is significantly improved could require additional administrative effort.

And of course, as Tihispap said, denied suggestions have gotten denied for a reason.

Hell nah if its denied then its denied. If u want u can make new suggestion by improving the things which let it to denied

I agree to some extent.
I think there needs to be some pragmatism in the "denied because it was denied" argument.
Things change over time and an argument for something being invalid 4 years ago might no longer be valid today.

Similarly there needs to be leeway for discussion about the merits of a suggested outside of the nuances of the suggestion.

Case in point: I disagree with the 3 month detail of this suggestion but I agree with the point of being able to resubmit something in the future.

3 months is too short but 4 years is definitely a valid timescale. The right amount is somewhere in between. Perhaps a year or 18 months.

There should be a defined cut off date so there is a balance between a flood of constantly getting the same idea vs never being allowed to submit ever again and the server getting stale.

There also doesn't need to be any credit given to the original person if this timescale and rule is written down.

Improving the suggestion or expanding the subject rather than copying and pasting the suggestion should be a requirement too.
