Someone asked in chat does anyone have a mending book and I said yes then told me to tpa to him.When I tpa he was in pvp area waiting there to kill me with 1 other person. I lost all my stuff and I'm new to the server to I didn't know if it was legal to do but later that day I asked some players in chat if that was legal they said no and told me to report it

That's not really valid evidence, u need a recording to report someone for tp trapping.
Try not to tp to random players and even if u do have to for some reason always make sure to leave all your important stuff behind.
