We've been busy making loads of improvements and fixes to enhance your OpFactions experience.

Your feedback has been invaluable, and we've focused on refining the gameplay for a smoother experience.

We've revamped our special items to focus on balance and introduce new, exciting elements.

End of the world

We will be hosting an end-of-season event to celebrate the end of the season. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpFactions and have fun!

The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.

New! Spawn

A new season of OpFactions wouldn't be complete without a new spawn area.

And with the holiday season just around the corner, this season will feature the much-loved Christmas-themed spawn.

New! Events

We're bringing you something really special - Events, happening five times every week!

These aren't just regular game activities. They're big events that are all about bringing our gaming community together for some awesome times.

Every week, you get five chances to join in on these cool events. They're specially made to be fun, challenging, and full of rewards. No matter if you like playing alone or with a team, there's something fun for everyone.

How to enter?

You can join these events in their special world. Just go through the Event Portal in the PvP arena.

This portal opens for three minutes when an event starts, but after that, you can't join the ongoing event.

Be ready for a real challenge, especially in the events with PvP.

These are intense because you can't leave until the end, and almost all commands are turned off.

Winning one of these events is a big deal and exciting.

And guess what? We've added 4 events for this season. They are:

Boss Battle	Envoys	Dungeons	Stronghold
In this epic showdown, you'll face off against an incredibly powerful boss. Only the top three players who deal the most damage and remain standing until the end will be crowned the winners of the Boss Battle.	You'll spawn into a vast room brimming with supply crates, each filled with exciting loot. Your mission? Gather as much treasure as you can in 15 minutes. But here's the twist - there's no single winner in this challenge. When the 15 minutes are up, a portal will open, offering you a one-way ticket out of the room with all your gathered goods. PvP is enabled within this event.	In the Dungeons, you'll encounter mobs with formidable health. As you navigate the labyrinthine passages, keep an eye out for a special drop place. Hidden in a random location within the dungeon, this spot holds a coveted item, different every single time. PvP is enabled within this event.	The Stronghold is essentially KOTH but on a larger scale. You and your gang can enter the Stronghold and capture it for a great reward. Once you have entered the Stronghold, the only way out is hiding, dying, or winning the Stronghold. PvP is enabled within this event. This is the same Stronghold as previously existed on OpFactions.

New! Darkzone

The darkzone in OpFactions has undergone a complete transformation!

A New Terrain for the Darkzone!

We've rolled out a completely new map for the darkzone, segmented into unique zones. Each of these zones features a specific location where a new darkzone boss will emerge. This update brings a diverse range of challenges and opportunities for exploration in the darkzone. Prepare to journey through these distinct areas and confront the new bosses.

Unveiled Get ready for an exciting new feature in the OpFactions darkzone - the introduction of crystals! These new crystals, found in the darkzone, are an integral part of this season's gameplay and an excellent resource for players. Not only are they engaging to collect, but they also hold substantial value. You can gather these crystals and sell them for a considerable sum in the /shop.

Updated! Darkzone Bosses

Exciting developments continue in the OpFactions darkzone, especially with the boss updates!

As part of the latest darkzone revamp, all previous bosses have been removed. But here's the thrilling part - we're introducing four completely new bosses!

These new adversaries come with significantly increased health and strength, making them formidable opponents.

But don't worry, the tougher challenge also means better rewards. We aim to make the Darkzone a thrilling and adventurous experience, and with these new bosses, we believe we're heading in the right direction.

We're shaking things up in Factions Immortal with an overhaul of our sets!

All the existing sets have been cleared out, making room for a series of new, more balanced sets.

Say goodbye to the old school bronze set, and all other newly introduced special sets, and make room for a selection of brand-new ones.

Updated! Masks

We've completely refreshed our mask collection by removing all the existing masks and adding 4 unique new ones. These new masks are closely tied to the gameplay - you can obtain each one by defeating the newly introduced bosses.

Updated! Special Weapons

This new season of OpFactions is set to revolutionize our approach to special weapons!

We've been aware of the mixed feelings towards our special weapons. To address this, we've decided to remove all the old special weapons from the game.

But here's the exciting part - we're introducing a selection of brand-new special weapons for you to try out this season.

Rarities per weapon.

These new special weapons also come with their rarity levels, to start we will be introducing 5 custom weapons, 1 Epic tier, and 4 Legendary tiers.

Those weapons are the following:

The latest season of OpFactions introduces an exciting update to pets!

We've phased out most of the old pets, but the great news is that we're bringing in a handful of brand-new pets this season.

Just like the new special sets, and weapons, these pets also come in rarities, those rarities being Epic and Legendary.

This pet stayed from last season, with a small change. Lvl 1 When activated you will put nearby enemies within 5 blocks in a cobweb. Locked-down enemies gain Slowness IV for 3 seconds. Lvl 2 When activated you will put nearby enemies within 8 blocks in a cobweb. Locked-down enemies gain Slowness IV for 3 seconds. Lvl 3 When activated you will put nearby enemies within 10 blocks in a cobweb. Locked-down enemies gain Slowness IV for 3 seconds. Lvl 4 When activated you will put nearby enemies within 12 blocks in a cobweb. Locked-down enemies gain Slowness IV for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 1 minute and 30 seconds.	This pet stayed from last season. Updated! Outpost & KOTH

We've updated the KOTH rewards to be more balanced and valuable, enhancing your gameplay experience.

Taking on KOTH challenges is now more rewarding and fulfilling. The rewards have been adjusted to truly match the skill and effort you put in.

Better understanding of KOTHs and Outposts.

In addition to updating the rewards, we've also made a visual change. Now, each KOTH and Outpost features a central hologram displaying important information about the respective KOTH and Outpost.

Updated! Quests

Exciting update for OpFactions players - the new season comes with improved quest rewards!

The quest rewards have been adjusted for better balance, ensuring they're well worth your time and effort. Now, finishing quests is not just rewarding but also more gratifying. We've tailored the rewards to correspond with the hard work you invest.

Fixed! Bugs

We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpFactions server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.

Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:

Fixed not getting crowns from outpost
Fixed bosses not dropping lootbags
Fixed some outposts giving no boost.
Fixed some outposts giving wrong boost.
Fixed Essence Harvester Hoe.
Fixed members being able to access /f perms
Fixed coinflip quest not counting wins.
Fixed melon blocks not being counted for melon block quest.
Fixed quests existing for worlds that are no longer in the game.
Fixed enderpearls not working after first hour ends.
Fixed enderpearls working in /warp soccer.
Fixed chunk buster quest not counting different tiers.
Fixed /potfill not working.

Misc. Updates & Changes

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:

Added a new seasonal loot box
Added a new seasonal crate.
Removed the leaderboards from spawn.
Crates now show the percentage for winning an item.
Added a SOTW Bundle
Made spawn a bit more clear with less NPCs and holograms
Added a new animation on seasonal lootcrate.
Added an information menu for the new Darkzone
Removed old envoys from warzone and moved them as a weekly event.
Removed warzone bosses from the goldshop.

Question and Answers

Why did OpFactions reset?

OpFactions is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.

This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and the style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!

This will go on until the end of the season which will last exactly 5 weeks or 35 days and end with the final payout.

This new season of OpFactions is set to revolutionize our approach to special weapons!

We've been aware of the mixed feelings towards our special weapons. To address this, we've decided to remove all the old special weapons from the game.
But here's the exciting part - we're introducing a selection of brand-new special weapons for you to try out this season.

Rarities per weapon.
These new special weapons also come with their rarity levels, to start we will be introducing 5 custom weapons, 1 Epic tier, and 4 Legendary tiers.
Those weapons are the following:

We've phased out most of the old pets, but the great news is that we're bringing in a handful of brand-new pets this season.

We've updated the KOTH rewards to be more balanced and valuable, enhancing your gameplay experience.
Taking on KOTH challenges is now more rewarding and fulfilling. The rewards have been adjusted to truly match the skill and effort you put in.

Better understanding of KOTHs and Outposts.
In addition to updating the rewards, we've also made a visual change. Now, each KOTH and Outpost features a central hologram displaying important information about the respective KOTH and Outpost.

Exciting update for OpFactions players - the new season comes with improved quest rewards!

The quest rewards have been adjusted for better balance, ensuring they're well worth your time and effort. Now, finishing quests is not just rewarding but also more gratifying. We've tailored the rewards to correspond with the hard work you invest.

Fixed! Bugs

We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpFactions server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:

Fixed bosses not dropping lootbags

Fixed some outposts giving no boost.

Fixed some outposts giving wrong boost.

Fixed Essence Harvester Hoe.

Fixed members being able to access /f perms

Fixed quests existing for worlds that are no longer in the game.

Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:

Added a new seasonal loot box

Added a new seasonal crate.

Removed the leaderboards from spawn.

Crates now show the percentage for winning an item.

Added a SOTW Bundle

Made spawn a bit more clear with less NPCs and holograms

Added a new animation on seasonal lootcrate.

Added an information menu for the new Darkzone

Removed old envoys from warzone and moved them as a weekly event.

Removed warzone bosses from the goldshop.

Question and Answers

Why did OpFactions reset?

OpFactions is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.

This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and the style provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
