We've made some major changes to enhance your gameplay experience, and we're proud to say that we've been hard at work to rebalance existing features and revamp some of the features we currently offer.

Below you can find most of the changes we have made and what has been added, I’m sure I forgot to mention it all but I’m sure giving it a good read over you will be familiar with most you're going to see. If there is however still something you want to change, feel free to mention it on this thread before its release, we can still consider making the change.

End of the world
To celebrate the end of the season, we will be hosting an end-of-season event. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpSkyBlock and have fun!

The following are the most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and features.
Payouts! Island Top Rewards
In this new season of OpSkyBlock, we will have bi-weekly rewards for the top islands!
This will continue until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days and end with the final payout.

End-of-the-season rewards
First place: €500 worth of Iron currency.
Second place: €350 worth of Iron currency.
Third place: €200 worth of Iron currency.
Bi-weekly rewards

New! Minion Chest
We're excited to introduce a significant update to minions that addresses their limitations when it comes to heavy lifting. Say hello to the Minion Chest!
This special chest provides extra storage for your minions, allowing them to handle larger quantities of ores efficiently.
Extra Storage for your MinionOnce your minion has been mining for you it will first look if there is a Minion Chest connected to him, you can do this by placing it next to a minion. It needs to be directly in a 1-block range of the chest, otherwise, the little hands of the minion won't be able to reach it. Once he has a chest available the mined ores will be placed within this chest first.
Chests with a different storage capacityThe Minion Chest comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large.
With these chests, you can expand your minion's storage capacity and ensure they always have a steady supply of ores to work with.
The bigger the size of the chest the more ores it is able to have stored.
This update will enhance your minions' productivity and minimize interruptions.

New! Crystal Wand
Acknowledging the significant value of enchanted ores in the competition, we are introducing an exciting addition to our arsenal of tools: the Crystal Wand.
This new wand has been specifically designed to streamline the process of transferring enchanted ores to your island crystal, saving you time and effort.
Transfer enchanted minerals to your Island CrystalWith the Crystal Wand in your possession, you can now effortlessly gather all the enchanted ores stored within a chest and transfer them directly to your island crystal. This feature aims to enhance the efficiency of resource management, ensuring that you can maximize your gameplay and stay competitive in the race for victory.
We understand the importance of enchanted ores and their impact on your progress, which is why we have prioritized this quality-of-life improvement.
New! AFK Pool
A brand new area has opened up at our spawn, the AFK Pool.
This special area is designed for players who need to step away from the game for a bit but still want to earn rewards.
Dive into the PoolBy standing in the AFK Pool, you can safely be AFK and increase your playtime. Every 30 minutes you spend in the AFK Pool will earn you an AFK Lootbox.
These special loot boxes contain 1 random item, so you never know what you might get!

It allows you to quickly offload your items and streamline the trading process, saving you time and effort.

Confirm your purchaseIntroducing the Confirm Purchase menu, a game-changing addition that provides an extra layer of assurance before completing a transaction. With this feature, you can review your selected items and make sure everything is just right before confirming your purchase.
Select your currencyBut that's not all! We've also introduced a fantastic new option to select your preferred currency for purchases.

Updated! Auction House
We have revamped the auction house to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
Our goal was to make it easier for you to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for.
Search up players' auctions.With this update, we have implemented a new feature that allows you to search for any player's auctions effortlessly.
Simply use the command /ah <player name> and you'll gain immediate access to all the auctions that the player has listed.
This improvement ensures that you can easily browse and participate in auctions, bringing more convenience to your gameplay.
Updated! Masks
We're excited to announce a major update to our mask system that will enhance your gameplay experience even further.
We recognize the importance of masks in PvP battles, and we've made them even better with a new feature.
View a player their mask at any time.As a player, you'll now be able to see which masks your opponents are wearing in real time. Instead of their helmet, you'll see the skull of their mask displayed on their character, providing a clear indication of their chosen mask.
This update is purely for display purposes and is only visible to your opponents. It adds an extra layer of strategy to battles, allowing players to assess their opponents' mask choices and adjust their tactics accordingly.
Fixed! Bugs
We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpSkyBlock server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:
- Fixed some unscrambles being impossible.
- Fixed island border resetting after reboot.
- Fixed extra drops not being added in mining backpack.
- Fixed a typo with Slaughterer event.
- Fixed headwand not being received from /transfer
- Fixed server spamming '1' sometimes.
- Fixed auctionhouse not giving experience when the price is too high.
- Fixed being able to place a mining backpack and therefore breaking it.
- Fixed dungeon keys not being able to be stacked.
- Fixed trades showing key trading option when it does not exist.
Misc. Updates and changes.
After receiving some suggestions about modifying a couple of things, we have decided to make the following modifications in order to make everyone's OpSkyBlock experience much better. We have modified a few features which were present on the previous map, and here is the list including those modifications, along with a justification for the majority:
- Updated all plugins.
- Updated /payouts menu.
- Added a crop counter scroll to more places.
- Added support for /profile to work on offline players.
- Updated envoy locations to fit better within the warzone.
- Updated seasonal crate
- Updated seasonal loot box
- Removed player-level requirements that were not needed

Question and Answers
Why does OpSkyBlock reset?
OpSkyBlock is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you players to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all items, money, and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style is provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
