I honestly think this is a great idea, you can practice 1.16.4 PvP since the server is still based around "Practice".
But what if 1.8.9 players queue and the server bugs out?

Shield pvp cannot be added since pika supports all versions from 1.8 to latest , so the early versions won’t be able to see the shield . Not sure if its impossible but I don’t really like the idea. Either way , you need to make a suggestion for it and not a thread so it is considered.

They could find a way to add it for 1.8 with the right plugins , but still , I’m not a fan of this.
